I would like to clear up the misconception that Mike Jefferson and I violated Fellow Feathers site regulations when we flew tandems for the MythBusters TV episode filmed at Fort Funston.

Everyone needs to understand that the MythBusters film project had nothing to do with the Fellow Feathers special use permit or the rules therein.
The production company for MythBusters was granted their own GGNRA use permit to do commercial film production at Fort Funston. That type of permit allows for financial compensation of all personnel under contract to the production company for whom the permit was granted. This includes actors, directors, cameramen, grips, electricians, on-screen personalities, stunt men, and yes, hang glider pilots.
This same fact applies to the Good Morning America! shoot I did a few years ago.

In summary: No regulations were violated during either of these film shoots.
I would appreciate your help in correcting any misconceptions that are still floating around. I'm sure Mike would too.
Thank you.
