Funston shut down 1:10 pm - 7:50 pm, Fri Apr. 21!!!!!

Due to a presidential visit, all hang gliding and some other types of flying are shut down this Friday from 1:10 to 7:50 pm in a 30 NM circle around Moffett Field. Funston is just inside 30 NM from Moffett.

Please don't fly Funston during this period. You don't want to mess with the Secret Service.

Does anyone know what the FAA/Federal penalties are? I'm sure they're bad, but don't know the specifics.

Don't know, but...

It would probably be worse for the club's future than for any individual.

Although.. W more than likely has the SS (weren't those initials of infamy from WWII?) ..spring-loaded in the shoot-to-kill position!

...it's like a Harry Martin cartoon waiting to happen!!

those times are always subject to change! If you're going to fly tomorrow morning, I'd check with flight service first!!
