Flyfunston

Hello all,

I'm sure most of you remember Chris (Halkeye) Giardina. We lost
Chris at King Mountian about this time last year. Chris was flying
too close to a thunderstorm. The thunderstorm apparently let loose
with a powerful downpour and Chris couldn't fly away.

We had a really nice memorial for him a year ago. This year his
family is having a picnic in Tilden Park in Berkeley and wanted me to
spread the word to the hang gliding crowd and tell you that your all
invited, whether you knew him well, or in passing. You couldn't help
notice Chris. If you can stop by for part of the time Im sure the
family would appreciate it.

The party will be in Tilden park, at the Padre Picnic Area on June
26th, 2005. From 12-5pm. Please come by if you can. Padre Picnic
Area is off of South Park Drive (South of the Botanic Garden), on the
west side. Chris's kid Sebastian will be there running around and
talking a mile a minute. Can't wait to see this kid.
