Just to address speculation: Yes, there was an incident at Fort Funston on Thanksgiving day that involved a private citizen who was walking his dogs on the beach.

This person just happens to be a member of our club but he was not hang gliding, representing hang gliding, in our area of jurisdiction, or doing anything associated with the Fellow Feathers. We are officially not involved with this incident, nor do we intend to get involved.
